Video Conference
If you choose to meet by video conference, the platform we will use is Zoom for Health Care.
All video appointments are encrypted and the content is never stored or recorded. It is compliant with Canadian healthcare privacy laws and relevant health college guidelines. Although I am providing a platform that is compliant with Canadian law, there are inherent privacy risks with the use of the internet when choosing to meet by videoconference. It is your choice whether or not you are willing to take those risks.
My hourly rate is $150
Some insurance providers have approved Registered Marriage and Family Therapists (RMFT) for reimbursement.

Your privacy and wellbeing matters and is important to me.
As a member of the College of Nurses in Ontario, I follow this professional code of ethics and standards of practice. I am also Clinical Fellow & Approved Supervisor with the American, Canadian and Ontario Associations for Marriage (Couple) and Family Therapy. I am accountable as well to these Code of Ethics. I also adhere to the standards of the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).
No matter how protected internet and cell communications are (videoconference, email, text or phone), they can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you choose to share confidential information by videoconference, phone, email or text, please be aware of and understand the inherent privacy risks and are willing to take responsibility for those risks.
